Photography Workshop

Photography Workshop

Welcome to the Photography Basics Workshop!

Join us at Three Edge Framing & Gallery at 41/14 Loyalty Rd North Rocks, for a fun, hands-on introduction to photography.

In this workshop, we’ll guide you through the essentials of using your camera with confidence. You’ll learn how to make sense of settings like ISO, aperture, and shutter speed and more importantly, how to use them to capture brighter, sharper, more creative images.

We’ll finish with a practical activity so you can put your new skills into practice straight away, leaving you ready to take better photos of the people and places you love.

Learning the basics of photography

Have you ever wished your photos of family gatherings, holidays, or everyday adventures looked just a little sharper, brighter, or more creative? Our Photography Basics Workshop at Three Edge Framing & Gallery is designed for people who are new to photography, or who simply want to get more out of their camera without feeling overwhelmed by the technical side of things.

Over the course of the workshop, you’ll be introduced to the foundations of photography in a relaxed and supportive environment. We’ll take you step by step through the key settings — ISO, aperture, and shutter speed — and show you how they work together to shape your images.

By the end of the session, you’ll understand not only what the buttons on your camera do, but how to use them to capture the moments that matter most. Whether it’s a child’s smile, a sweeping landscape from your travels, or candid family memories, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to bring your vision to life.
