Australian landscape photographer Lisa Shaw uses her signature impressionistic-style to capture the emotion and colours of the Australian coastline.   Inspired by the rich sense of place of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lisa shares the moods of the sea and our universal connection to it.  Lisa’s work is infused with a sense of artistry influenced by the Impressionists. Using the camera’s lens reminiscent of a paintbrush moving across canvas, the boundary between what is normally seen dissolves into a painterly world of blended light, feelings and colour.

Lisa has received a Top 10 award (3rd place) in the Landscape category in Australian Photographer of the Year 2021 and celebrated her work internationally with a Finalist award (5th place) in The Independent Photographer’s 2022 Emerging Talent Awards.
