Simon Hall is a Bathurst NSW based photographer who has rarely been without a camera since his teenage years, though he began pursuing photography more seriously in 2017. Living in a bush setting first sparked his fascination with birds, which soon grew into a passion for capturing native wildlife and the sweeping scenery of western NSW. Simon photographs purely for the joy of it, finding endless inspiration in the quiet moments of dawn and the soft glow of morning light. While most of his work is created across the western regions, he occasionally turns his lens toward the coast where he grew up as a child, always seeking the beauty and character of Australia’s natural world.
