Three Edge Framing & Studio was built by Emma Forrest and Lisa Shaw, two women who trained in the picture framing trade and quickly became a local favourite in the Hills District.

We believe custom framing is an art form in itself, and through daily hands-on involvement and ongoing self-development, we're always evolving and strengthening what we do.

What started as a small, hands-on business has grown into a trusted name in custom framing, and we're excited to keep sharing our expertise, helping you create a beautiful, lasting frame you'll cherish for years to come.

Three Edge

Quality is non-negotiable for us. Every piece is handcrafted using premium, acid-free materials, state-of-the-art equipment and conservation techniques designed for longevity, not trends. We're committed to sustainable practices too, sourcing responsibly harvested timber wherever possible and building frames designed to be kept for a lifetime, not replaced.

But framing has never just been technical to us, it's personal. Every piece that comes through our door has a story, and we listen first, guide honestly, and take the time to get it right. That same care extends to our community, we're proud to sponsor local sports teams, support charity initiatives, and host workshops, because a studio like ours should give back to the community that supports it.

Lisa and Emma

Emma and Lisa both trained in the picture framing trade, but they bring different strengths to the studio. Together, they've grown Three Edge from a small startup into an award-winning studio, framing over 2,000 pieces and bringing more than 15 years of combined experience to every project. You'll usually find them both in the studio, ready to talk through your piece and help you get it right.

Emma Forrest

Emma pairs her picture framing qualification with a background in photo-imaging and years spent behind the camera as a professional photographer. That experience gave her a practised eye for light and detail long before she picked up a mat cutter. She brings that same sharpness to every piece she frames.

Lisa Shaw

Lisa pairs her picture framing qualification with a background in marketing management, bringing a considered, detail-driven approach to every project she takes on. A landscape photographer herself, she understands what it takes to see a piece through from creation to presentation, and brings that understanding into every conversation with every customer.
