Journey Into Photography

The inspiration to pursue photography as a hobby stemmed from my appreciation for seeing other people’s images displayed as art. This passion ignited after I retired in 2023 & in 2024, I embarked on the journey to discover what it truly means to be a photographer, focusing on developing my abilities through various courses and skill development programs. Joining a local camera club introduced me to a community of fellow photographers who encouraged and supported me as I tried to perfect my skills.

I am still discovering which photographic genre resonates most with me, as I find joy in capturing seascapes, cityscapes, landscapes and nature. Recently, I have begun expanding my creative expression into the sphere of drone photography, allowing new perspectives in my work.

My aim is to always challenge myself to make each photo better than the last, striving to produce stunning images that tell a story of what I have witnessed. My aim is for people to be moved and to understand the story behind each photo, enabling a connection to the beauty of the world we live in. Ultimately, I hope my perspective encourages others to appreciate our wonderful world even more.
