Kathy wallace

With no formal photography or architectural education, Kathy’s untrained eye focuses on design elements and details that grab her attention in urban settings. Based in Sydney, she enjoys seeking out opportunities to see the world in a fresh way. This is particularly so since she took up photography, away from the desk confines of her ‘day job’ as a paralegal. Perhaps the details orientation of her day job has drawn her to architecture photography.

Kathy has entered many photography competitions and is proud of the results she has achieved. She has twice won the Architecture Category of Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers competition. Recently she picked up the title of Interior Architecture Photography Discovery of the Year in the international Architecture Masterprize photography competition. Connecting with others who enjoy architecture photography is the catalyst that is driving her to set up architecture photo walks in Sydney in 2026.
