Henrik Moller
Henrik Moller’s photography is his detox therapy after a 50-year career as an ecological scientist in New Zealand. He now seeks to share his love for plants and animals in more mysterious and playful ways than numbers or words could ever convey. He is turning towards abstract and minimalist imagery within a nature expressionism genre because he believes that viewers must find their own meaning and path from ecology and nature.
Henrik is part of the Bricolage Collective, alongside Noelle Bennett and Gary McClintock. Bricolage is a French word which means ‘to tinker’ and generally refers to the construction or creation of a piece of art using a diverse range of non-standard or imagined materials or techniques. Noelle, Gary and Henrik create very different images in innovative ways to inject new meanings and insights into ‘Into.the.Wild’ of New Zealand.
